We took advantage of the sunny weather on our second day in Munich by going to the Tierpark Hellabrunn. This zoo offered a lot to see, but the kids seemed most entertained by the aviary. There, the children bought bird food (pellets) and, of course, Alex proceeded to pelt the ducks. Using his nose, Jeff found the one crepe stand in the zoo, located near the giraffes. We took a break and enjoyed crepes with chocolate and hazelnuts.
After the zoo, we had a tasty Italian lunch at Ristorante Da Fausto, located nearby. All of the filled pastas were handmade and every dish was delicious. The tiramisu was made with the creamiest mascarpone ever and all the kids enjoyed their gelato.
