Peterhouse Farm Pumpkin Patch, Lakenheath, Suffolk
A crisp, autumn morning practically mandates a pumpkin patch visit! We ventured to Peterhouse Farm, where we we gleefully piled gourds of all kinds into a wheelbarrow. The kids got balloon swords and proceeded to duel each other in the fields. Such antics whet the appetite, so we got yummy treats like sausage and egg sandwiches (Jeff, Kieran and Alex), chili cheese nachos (Larissa), and doughnuts from the Devilish Donuts truck parked on site. All of the food was freshly made and delicious! There were also pony rides and face painting opportunities available, but we unfortunately had to make a premature departure, as there was a burnt tongue casualty from the hot chocolate. Nevertheless, we had a great time. Kieran is already planning his return trip for next year!
