Paris 2010

This Half-Term break, we met up with our friends Grant, Akiko and their little baby Makoto in Paris for several days.  While our friends stayed at the enormous Hotel Concorde La Fayette, we bunkered down in a beautiful apartment on cobblestoned Avenue Beaucour, just off of Avenue Hoche near the Arc de Triomphe.  We enjoyed eating baguettes everyday, drinking copious amounts of hot chocolate, and blowing off steam at parks like Parc Monceau and Jardin des Tuileries.  We had so much fun that we all found it very difficult to leave Paris.  On our train ride back to London, Alex had a brilliant idea.  "When we move next time, we should move to France.  The food is so much better than anywhere else."  We couldn't argue with that, but we did have to break the news to her that we couldn't relocate there anytime soon.
